What type of photography do you offer?
I specialize in weddings, elopements, engagements, families, maternity, proposals, and events
Where are you based? Do you travel?
I live on Lake Tahoe's West Shore but I photograph all throughout Truckee & the Tahoe Basin
And yes, I travel! I’ve photographed families and weddings in National Parks, near oceans, deserts, lakes, rivers, granite, you name it. If it’s meaningful to you, I’ll meet you there.
How much do your sessions cost?
You can find more details on my website's Pricing Page 👈🏻 but this is the short & sweet version:
- Family, engagement, and portrait sessions start at $400
- Weddings & elopements begin at $900
What does the process of booking a session with you look like?
Here's how it works.
- Fill out my Inquiry Form 👈🏻
- I reply with availability as soon as I can
- We make it official and I will send you a contract, invoice, and payment options
- Once your deposit is paid, I send you questionnaires and a style guide to help you choose location and outfits
- Photoshoot day!
- I send you a few sneak peeks within 3 days of our session
- I deliver your full gallery within 3 or 4 weeks depending on session type

Family Photo FAQs
Do you photograph families visiting Lake Tahoe?
Yes! 80% of my family clients are here on vacation. Whether you’re in Tahoe for a ski trip, a summer lake day, or a big family reunion, I’ll help you choose the right spot and get photos that feel like the big blue!
Ah! What do we wear?
The dreaded family photo question. But don't worry! Once you're booked, I'll send you a full style guide with color palettes, outfit coordinating ideas, and what photographs best at the location we are shooting.
Bonus: Once you have narrowed down some choices, you can text me outfit photos and I’ll help you choose.
My kids are feral. What if they don't cooperate?
Then, my friend, you are exactly like every other family I have ever photographed. I don’t expect kids to act like professionals...especially at a beach or in the snow (absolutely not).
I've got confidence, patience, and a lot of experience snapping pics of wild kids. I keep it fun, fast, and natural. We’re not aiming for perfect. We’re aiming for honest, real, remembered.

I have a big family...do you photograph extended families?
Yes! Grandparents, cousins, siblings, aunts, uncles, babies, chaos... bring it all. Send me a list and I’ll organize the groupings so everyone gets what they need, and we still keep it relaxed and fun.
What time will my session be?
It depends! (on like a million variables)
We’ll pick the time based on what you want your photos to look like, what works best for you and your kids, how far you’re willing to drive, and the kind of scenery you’re dreaming of.
Sunrise? Sunset? Glowing meadow? Snowy pines? Lake views? Expansive views? Saturated blue? Muted blue? North Lake? South Lake? Each factor changes the light... and the schedule. Weather also plays a huge role here (I'm looking at you, snowy road closures).
Whatever you decide, we’ll plan together and choose the time that gives you the best experience and the best photos!

Wedding & elopement FAQs
How far in advance should we book you?
For weddings, most couples book me 6–18 months ahead, especially for summer and fall dates in Lake Tahoe. Those weekends go fast. If your wedding is sooner, still reach out! Sometimes I have openings, and I’m always happy to check.
Elopements can usually be booked with less notice... anywhere from 3–6 months out.
If you’re thinking about it… inquire now. Future you will be glad you did.
How much wedding photo coverage do we need?
Without knowing a single thing about you or your wedding, my default answer is always: 8 hours. It’s the sweet spot. Enough time to capture the full story... getting ready, the big moments, the in-betweens, and the dance-floor chaos at the end.
Could you need more? Maybe. Less? Also possible.
We’ll figure it out together. Let's talk about it!

Will you pose us or keep things candid?
Yes. lol.
My style is a blend of both.
There are moments where I’ll give you full direction (like during portraits or family formals) and moments where I hang back and let things unfold naturally.
Think of it as guided when needed, effortless when possible.

What can we expect once we reach out?
It’s simple, personal, and very intentional. I want to make sure we’re the right fit for each other.
- You inquire via my website. (I love Instagram just as much as you do, I promise! But inquire on my website, please!) You tell me your date, location, and vibe.
- I check availability and send my interactive pricing guide. You can explore packages, customize add-ons, and, most importantly, schedule a call with me. (We don’t skip this part!)
- If it’s a match, I send your proposal. Contract, invoice, and payment options. Your date is officially booked once the deposit is paid. (Payments are split into three: at booking, halfway, and one week before the wedding.)
- Then the fun begins.You’ll get my planning emails, multiple questionnaires, a custom photo timeline, family list guidance... all the good stuff that makes the day run smoothly.
- Wedding day!
- Sneak peeks delivered in 3 days.
- Full gallery delivered in 8 weeks or less.
